Hi! We're Bob and Audrey, founders of The Zen Game
Corporation. For over 35 years our attention has been directed
to only one thing... Enlightenment, or the discovery of the
Ultimate dimension of Consciousness. During the process of this
discovery there have been innumerable insights into the nature of the
formless Self that everyone shares in common.
In 1970
and 1975 we had two books published by New American Library. They
were Mentor paperbacks, which went through many printings and were
distributed worldwide, the titles being first, The Gospel According
to Zen, and then Games Zen Masters Play.
Later, The
Zen Game Corporation was founded to share the unique method of
Self-Discovery that was a BI-product of our search. The Zen
Game is not traditional Zen, but a combination of Eastern ways of
liberation with Western psychotherapy. It is an expression, which
includes Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Sufism, and Christianity, as well
as a revealing look at the faces connected to the Genetic Code.
In
addition to discovering the eight archetypal personalities (we call
"Archetoons") another most amazing gift has come to us, which
we will attempt to share in these web pages as well. That is, the
true story of Jesus and his teachings, which has been covered over with
myth and superstition for 2,000 years!
For us The
Zen Game is far more than a verbal or visual display, it is a
pointer to Totality itself... the non-verbal dimension of Awareness
which is Here-Now in this moment eternally and to be found in the
most simple, everyday occurrences.
"Zen" is the Japanese word for meditation. Meditation is
simply seeing things as they are without the interference of the "I
thought." This simple awareness of being awake in this
moment is both the method and the goal of Zen and all other ways of
liberation. It is so simple, that everyone overlooks the treasure
that is right under his or her nose. A Zen Master expressed it to
perfection when he was asked, "What is Zen?" He
answered, "It is simply THIS!" |
